If the urban lighting is used unreasonably, it will make people feel uncomfortable, and it will also destroy the original feeling of the building, which will reduce the beauty of the night scene.   At present, tungsten halogen lamps and high-pressure sodium lamps commonly used in night scene lighting have a low color temperature and a warm color appearance; metal halide lamps and high-pressure mercury lamps have a high color temperature and a cold color appearance. Different lamps have different color rendering. Choosing a light source with a suitable color temperature according to the material color of the building can enhance the lighting effect and create a unique mood. Floodlights with different color temperatures can also be selected in different parts of a building to emphasize the level of the building. However, colored lights should be used with caution. Because colored light has a strong emotional color, using colored light to enhance a certain color also changes the hue of other colors on the building facade, causing color imbalance, so do not use colored lighting fixtures indiscriminately. The first step in architectural night lighting design is ideation.
