Dynamic vision refers to the human eye's ability to distinguish objects in motion. The dynamic visual acuity of the human eye is generally lower than the static visual acuity, especially when the relative speed between the human and the observed object is accelerated, the dynamic visual acuity decline is more obvious. Therefore, it is not enough for all kinds of motor vehicle drivers to check their static vision only. The quality of the driver's dynamic vision directly affects the safety of the drivers and passengers.
The instrument can automatically simulate the relative movement of several dynamic optotypes at different speeds from far to near for the subject to identify, so as to objectively judge the subject's "dynamic vision" value.
