Landscape lighting design requirements
Apr 17,2022
Landscape lighting is an important component of a beautiful urban environment, bringing continuous economic and social benefits to the city. Currently, most cities in China have successively started the construction of night lighting projects, making cities more modern and vibrant, and bringing more business opportunities to cities, enterprises, or individuals.
Landscape lighting remains a necessity in our modern lives. Nighttime travel lighting is a functional need, while nighttime residential lighting is a spiritual need. Without considering the functional lighting of roads, landscape lighting in urban commercial squares, cultural blocks, tourist attractions, and landmark buildings creates a rich and diverse lighting environment for people's leisure and consumption. Because landscape lighting is directly related to the city's image and people's lives, the quality of lighting projects must be strictly controlled.
Wuse Lighting believes that urban landscape lighting projects should be based on urban construction and planning, fully understanding the city's natural landscape, humanistic history, and folk customs, strictly adhering to a series of standards for lighting projects, and designing and constructing to create artistic, innovative, and feasible night lighting effects.
In short, urban landscape lighting should be written in human language, and lighting design should become a visual guide for interpreting the city and clarifying the urban spatial structure. The direction and steps of lighting construction should match the policies; the operation and maintenance of lighting projects should comply with energy-saving standards, reasonably utilizing various energy sources and reducing energy consumption and costs while meeting lighting effects.
Landscape lighting art must use light and illumination to generate vitality. Lighting can change the appearance of the environment; artistic lighting and colors constitute dynamic and static landscapes of light, sound, and color, showcasing the small items, sculptures, and fashion of landscape courtyard lights, and embellishing the natural environment.
