October 13, 2023 Day Illuminating Engineering Societies of nine provinces and cities in the Yangtze River Delta and Central and Eastern China The 2023 Yangtze River Delta Lighting Technology Forum and Central and Eastern China Lighting Development Summit, jointly hosted by eight provinces and one municipality (Jiangsu Provincial Illuminating Engineering Society, Zhejiang Provincial Illuminating Engineering Society, Anhui Provincial Illuminating Engineering Society, Henan Provincial Illuminating Engineering Society, Hunan Provincial Illuminating Engineering Society, Hubei Provincial Illuminating Engineering Society, Jiangxi Provincial Illuminating Engineering Society, Shanxi Provincial Lighting Electrical Appliances Industry Association, Shanghai Illuminating Engineering Society), was successfully held at the Nanjing Fuli Wanda Realm Hotel in Jiangsu!

The "Yangtze Cup Lighting Technology Award" is an industry-specific award established by the Jiangsu Provincial Illuminating Engineering Society with the approval of the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Science and Technology. It aims to commend advanced achievements, showcase lighting technology accomplishments, promote the spirit of craftsmanship, improve technological levels, and promote the high-quality development of the lighting industry. The award recognizes units or organizations that have made outstanding achievements and contributions in lighting scientific research, technological innovation, application of achievements, planning and design, and engineering construction.

This grand event focused on themes such as "Light and Urban Renewal, Light and Smart Cities, Light and Cultural Tourism Night Tours, and Light and Architectural Spaces." In the face of new situations and tasks in the lighting industry, the event brought together participants to discuss and share ideas on implementing technology-driven development, advancing "dual carbon" goals, building smart cities, and embracing the digital cultural tourism era.
