Applicable scope of led explosion-proof roadway lights
Sep 22,2022
Many mines currently use日光灯, fluorescent tubes, and high-pressure sodium lamps as 巷道灯 light sources. With the nation's strong emphasis on energy conservation and the importance of mine safety, the high energy consumption, short lifespan, poor safety factor, and susceptibility to damage of traditional巷道灯 light sources no longer meet requirements. This is where explosion-proof LED巷道灯, using LEDs as light sources, have begun to show their advantages. What is the situation?
Mine explosion-proof LED巷道灯 use high-brightness chips and epoxy resin encapsulation, incorporating new technologies such as red night light powder, significantly improving lighting effects. The luminaire uses a separate compartment design for the power supply, LED lights, and wiring, with the housing surface treated with electrostatic powder coating. This not only ensures an aesthetically pleasing appearance and easy assembly but also significantly enhances the explosion-proof, impact-resistant, vibration-resistant, heat-resistant, anti-fouling, and waterproof capabilities of the luminaire, meeting national and industry standards.
The LED lights themselves are highly efficient, energy-saving, and environmentally friendly. Under the same illuminance, the power consumption is 1/10 that of fluorescent lamps and 1/2 that of fluorescent tubes. LEDs are cold light sources; their light emission is a physical process that does not involve heat, but it does involve the formation of an eddy electric field. If heat is not dissipated, it will affect the lifespan. Therefore, using high thermal conductivity silicone rubber for heat dissipation can extend the service life of the explosion-proof LED巷道灯.
Applicable scope of explosion-proof LED巷道灯:
1. Explosion-proof design (to prevent light source explosions from affecting the surroundings. Generally, the luminaire has a lamp cover made of explosion-resistant materials; the luminaire does not necessarily need to be sealed).
2. Design to prevent sparks inside the luminaire from igniting flammable or explosive gases in the surrounding environment (to prevent accidents caused by the luminaire. The luminaire housing must not only be explosion-proof but also sealed, meaning the inside and outside air of the luminaire are isolated).
In manufacturing and practical applications, more emphasis is placed on the second point. However, due to material costs, installation, and aesthetic requirements, the first point is not without value (e.g., in food and pharmaceutical production where there are no flammable or explosive gases, the luminaire only needs a lamp cover to prevent accidental light source explosions or spattering of contaminants).
Therefore, explosion-proof luminaires like those used in coal mines in places without flammable or explosive gases are equivalent to having redundant design features. Apart from the relatively high cost and somewhat peculiar design, there have been no problems. Therefore, it is not clear why power plants would be any different.
