What are the characteristics of mining support lamps? How should we choose them?

Mining support lamps are now widely used because, unlike other ordinary lamps, they can be adjusted in any direction, are easy to install, and their brackets can be custom-designed to suit specific needs. This ensures both adequate lighting and a longer lifespan for the lamps. So how should we choose them? Let's find out in this article!

Advantages of mining support lamps

Mining support lamps mainly consist of an "upper lamp head" and a "lower lamp tube". A combined energy-saving electronic ballast is included. A baffle structure is added, and the lower seam has a cavity structure with a growth section. Multiple through-holes are arranged in a ring around the outer wall of the growth cavity for multiple heat insulation and dissipation, ensuring the normal service life of the energy-saving lamp.

The difference between LED alley lights and bracket lights

There is some confusion regarding the use of lamps in the mine. Here, we will briefly explain the specific differences between LED roadway lamps and support lamps.

Application scope and characteristics of LED alley lights

Mine explosion-proof LED roadway lamps are a type of green and environmentally friendly roadway lamp designed and manufactured using LED light sources. These lamps have advantages such as small size, light weight, long lifespan, no pollution, maintenance-free, energy saving, and high safety. They are mainly suitable for roadway and chamber lighting in underground coal mines and non-coal mines with the danger of methane or coal dust explosions. Main technical parameters: AC input rated voltage: 127V, rated power: 100W, illuminance: ≥80L× (tested at 3 meters), LED light source current: 0.4A.

Maintenance and User Instructions for LED Tunnel Lights

How to safely use LED alley lights and extend their lifespan? This is a commonly overlooked issue. Improper use and maintenance, such as simply cleaning the dust off LED alley lights after a period of time, will significantly reduce their lifespan. Therefore, let's understand the maintenance and usage instructions for LED alley lights.

Advantages of LED alley lights

LED roadway lights are not commonly seen on city streets, but are commonly used in mines, mine shafts, and electromechanical workstations. These lights use high-power LEDs as light sources, resulting in extremely low power consumption. For the same illuminance, power consumption is 1/10 that of incandescent lamps and 1/2 that of energy-saving fluorescent lamps. They offer significant energy savings. Below, we will explore the advantages of LED roadway lights.

Features of LED alley lights

In the special environment of a mine, phone calls are not permitted. When the power is turned on, phone calls may come in, causing safety accidents. Therefore, mobile phones are switched off in mines. Because liquefied gas molecules float in the mine air, encountering electricity and sparks can be dangerous. So, let's learn about the characteristics of LED roadway lights.

Misconceptions about energy-saving lamps in mining LED support lamps

In today's resource-conscious society, energy-saving lamps are commonly used in home decoration. However, many consumers have misconceptions about the selection and use of energy-saving lamps. To help consumers better understand energy-saving lamps, particularly those used in mining LED support lamps, we will clarify three common misconceptions regarding their use.

Do you know the advantages of mining LED bracket lights?

The mining LED bracket lamp mainly consists of an "upper lamp head structure" and a "lower lamp tube structure". An energy-saving electronic ballast is enclosed in the combined structure. Its feature is that a baffle structure is added below the space between the upper combining structure and the energy-saving electronic ballast. The lower combining structure has a cavity structure with a growth section. Multiple through-holes are arranged in a ring around the outer wall of the growth cavity structure for multi-faceted heat insulation and dissipation, ensuring the normal service life of the energy-saving lamp.

What kind of energy-saving lamp is a mining LED bracket lamp?

Unlike incandescent lamps, mining LED bracket lamps have a relatively complex structure. They emit light electronically. The formal name for energy-saving lamps is compact fluorescent lamps, and their "ancestor" is the fluorescent lamp. Fluorescent lamps are mainly composed of two core components: an iron core ballast and a cathode fluorescent lamp. The cathode fluorescent lamp is filled with a small amount of argon gas, the inner wall of the lamp tube is coated with a fluorescent substance, and electrodes are installed at both ends. After the power is turned on, with the cooperation of the igniter, the ballast will generate high voltage, causing the cathode of the lamp to emit electrons. These electrons collide with the argon molecules in the tube to produce more electrons. A large number of electrons collide with mercury vapor molecules and transfer energy to them, causing them to emit ultraviolet light.
